Bam Entertainment has today announced the North American release of Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The game, which was developed by UK-based Frontier Developments, is also scheduled for release on the GameCube later this month.

"From the moment we announced that we were bringing Wallace & Gromit to gaming consoles, we've received nothing but excitement and anticipation from the press, consumers, and retailers," said Ray Musci, CEO of Bam Entertainment. "We continue to reaffirm our commitment in delivering quality titles for the entire family this holiday season while bringing a new vision to this popular brand."

Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of Wallace's dog, Gromit. Gromit is on a mission to rescue baby animals from the clutches of the maniacal penguin Feathers McGraw. The game features 24 missions in total, as well as 12 mini arcade games.
