Last night, the Florida Gators triumphed over the UCLA Bruins at the NCAA Men's basketball championship game, the last round of the NCAA Final Four tournament. At the same time, gamers played in their own championship at Pontiac's Virtual Final Four Tournament. The game was the culmination of a two-month-long contest and three-week-long online tournament, which saw top players of College Hoops 2K6 duke it out in their own brackets.

After five rounds of play--lasting from March 14 until March 31--the Virtual Final Four championship was held last night at Hoop City, a sportscentric, all-ages event staged near the RCA Dome, site of the actual Final Four. The four finalists, each with their own particular brand of virtual basketball skills, played in front of hundreds of screaming fans. Check out this video feature to see the tournament--and the winners.
