Virgin's Swords & Sorcery Due for October

Virgin Interactive will launch Swords and Sorcery: Come Devils, Come Darkness for Windows 95 this October.

Hoping to inject the RPG genre with new life, S & S is the first real-time RPG game that allows players to choose either turn-based or real-time combat.

Heuristic Park, the game's developer, has created a feature called adaptive time phasing (ATP). ATP makes sure that the action goes along at a reasonable pace - but is designed not to sacrifice any of the strategic elements of gameplay.

Swords and Sorcery is being created by David W. Bradley, best known as the designer behind Wizardry 4, 5, and 6.
