"Wow, we're like totally up and running." One of the gang standing nearby just said that. He's right. We've got a couple of dozen people tying up loose ends here on a Sunday afternoon, but at this point, we're as ready as we'll ever be. Today's the day to take it easy since the real work is still to come. If you want to get a sense of what all's happening here as we get ready for the big show, watch this:

Thanks to BallGame for the video (wish I could say I made it, but I'm just pointing it out). When there's occasion for someone like Mr. B to be cutting together documentary-style footage, as opposed to constantly putting out four-alarm fires related to E3 prep, we've got to be doing something all right. We're all anxious to see if the good fortune carries through the week, but I'd like to think we'll be prepared even if it doesn't. E3's all about trying to expect the unexpected, after all.

Spirits are high in here, for a group of people forced to be working inside of a big warehouse on a Sunday at 5:00pm to the sound of backup warning lights while the warm LA breeze grows cooler as the sun sets. If people are nervous, they're not showing it. Me, I'm not showing it either, but I can't help but notice that the Sony press conference is less than a day away. The beginning of that conference will probably be the moment at which it finally hits us, that E3 is really here and we're in the center of it all.
