Vendetta Online blasts off

Strategy First today announced the release of its sci-fi massively multiplayer online role-playing game Vendetta Online. Developed by Guild Software, the game features real-time combat between spacecraft in a single, persistent universe. Players can choose their paths and fates in the game, and they can also group together to fly cooperative missions against computer-controlled or player-controlled opponents. There are also prominent battles between rival nations featured. Other game highlights include a “twitch”-based combat system, real zero-gravity physics, and open-ended play. Vendetta Online is available for the PC, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems. It is rated “T” for Teen and has an MSRP of $29.99.
