Florida-based game developer Psyonix has announced Vampire Hunter, its upcoming horror action game powered by Epic's Unreal technology, according to a report on http://www.bluesnews.comBlue's News. The developer has also launched a Flash-based Web site for the game. The new site contains a basic overview of the game's story and a gallery of screenshots and images.

Vampire Hunter will let players assume the role of a man on a quest to save the world from a vampire invasion. The game will feature realistic skeletal animation, distinct combat modes in both first- and third-person perspectives, and simultaneous use of both melee and projectile weapons. The developer will be showing the game at the upcoming Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California, on March 21-23.

Vampire Hunter: The Dark Prophecy is scheduled for completion in early 2003, and the developer is currently seeking a publisher.
