Vampire Bites Into Sales

Two separate editions of Vampire: The Masquerade jump into PC Data's top ten.

Activison's Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption jumped high up the PC Data sales charts in the week following its release. Figures for the week of June 4 to June 10 show that the action-RPG based on White Wolf's pen-and-paper game has nudged past Roller Coaster Tycoon to roost at number three. Tracked separately, the collector's edition of the game also made a surprising appearance, coming in fifth. In reaction to these newcomers, SimCity 3000 Unlimited slipped down to eighth, and recent releases Motocross Madness 2 and Daikatana were pushed off the chart.
