Valiant Hearts: The Great War release date for PS4 and Xbox One confirmed

Puzzle-adventure game gets digital launch date.

Ubisoft has revealed the release date for its upcoming puzzle-adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War. The game will launch digitally on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on June 25 this year.

Set during World War I, the game will follow the story of four characters faced with the Great War, and how it ties their lives together. Valiant Hearts: The Great War is being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, who worked on Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman Origins, and Rayman Legends.

The game will run on the UbiArt Framework engine, which was used in development of the recently released Child of Light.

UbiArt is great. I much prefer Ubisoft's smaller titles than their big releases.

I'll buy this as long as they stick to the $14.99. I loved Child of Light -it was a great value as I have almost 13 hours into the game and still haven't compleated it yet.

I'm so glad Ubisoft is stepping out of the norm and creating artistic and fun games that challange the RPG genra.

Dang that trailer made me sad, not excited for the game.

I'm looking forward to this game.  I can't pass up a game about love and sacrifice, because some of my great uncles served in that war (a couple died, others survived), and one of them married a French woman soon after the war ended, and settled down there.  So this tugs at my heart-strings.

No hype at all, yet the game will be pretty good, it seems.

I love the art style of this game and the story...I'll most likely pick this up when it's released  :)

Looks really good. The Ubi Art platform has been used on some really cool games thus far.

Whoops, I read that as Vandal Hearts so many times, then I watched the trailer and realized it's nothing like it.

If this is a indie this is actually not bad good artwork

@mark5225  Not sure why good indie art work would be a surprise... that's basically one of the big things good indie games are known for...  nice aesthetics.

@nl_skipper @mark5225  Maybe a lot of indies don't quite make it past that tipping point of the really killer artwork you get in some AAA art-focused games, but yeah many are known for that and many rely on it as one of the things you can actually get on a small budget if you find the right people.
