Strategy First has announced that US Open 2002 has gone gold and will ship this month. The game blends simulation elements with a faster arcade-style pace. US Open 2002 features 12 professional venues, including the US Open and Roland Garros (French Open) courts, and it includes four court surfaces.

Infogrames will distribute US Open 2002 in North America. The PC version will ship to stores in the middle of the month, and a PlayStation 2 version is scheduled for release later in the year. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
