Ultimate Arena has announced that both Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2003 are now available to play for cash prizes on its skill-based action game Web site. Up until now, the only game available on the site was America's Army.

"We already have thousands of users who have signed up to play America's Army, one of the most popular games in the world, at our site," said Michael Cassidy, CEO of Ultimate Arena. "Bringing Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2003 to our site will make Ultimate Arena even more exciting."

Ultimate Arena allows players to create their own tournaments or compete in existing ones with entry fees as low as 50 cents. Both individual- and team-based games are supported by the site, and the cash prizes calculated using the number of players and the entry fee for the game go straight to the eventual winner or winners.

"As a longtime gamer and competitor in online tournaments, I know just how exciting things can get when there's money on the line," said Dennis "Thresh" Fong, chief gaming officer of Ultimate Arena and world champion of Doom, Quake, and Quake II. "Ultimate Arena gives gamers the ability to put their money where their mouth is."

Anyone requiring additional information on Ultimate Arena or wishing to sign up for a free account can do so at the company's Web site.
