Unreal Championship 2 announced for the Xbox

Microsoft Game Studios today announced the development of Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict for the Xbox at Epic Games. Currently scheduled for release this fall, the game promises to revolutionize the first-person shooter genre through the incorporation of a new melee combat system, unique character combos, and an optional third-person perspective.

Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict will feature a single-player campaign as well as tournament play for up to eight players on Xbox Live.
