Game developer Westlake Interactive has announced that Clive Barker's Undying for the Macintosh has gone gold. The horror action game was released for the PC in early 2001 by Electronic Arts and won several awards, including GameSpot's awards for best sound and best artistic graphics for 2001. The game's combination of critical acclaim and lackluster sales also earned it GameSpot's Best Game No One Played award for 2001.

Clive Barker's Undying is a first-person action game that takes place in and around a haunted mansion in Northern Ireland. Players assume the role of Patrick Galloway, a paranormal expert who agrees to investigate the family estate of his friend, Jonathan Covenant. The Macintosh version of the game is scheduled for release later this month for an approximate retail price of $35.99. For more information, read our in-depth review of the PC game.
