Ultima Online: Renaissance Released
Origin's new version of the popular online RPG doubles the size of Britannia and eases learning curve.
Origin announced yesterday that Ultima Online: Renaissance, an enhanced version of the popular online RPG, would soon show up on store shelves. Renaissance doubles the land mass of Britannia to make it possible for more players to set up houses and castles in the countryside. An in-game tutorial and new lands where novices will be protected from player-vs.-player attacks are intended to make the game more accessible. If you're one of the current 185,000 subscribers to the monthly Ultima Online service, you won't need to purchase the expansion - the new features will be automatically downloaded to existing accounts.
