Crave Entertainment revealed today that its no-holds-barred brawler is headed for Nintendo's popular Game Boy Color portable.

"We've experienced a veritable tidal wave of awesome critical and consumer acclaim over our Ultimate Fighting Championship product lineup. UFC is our strongest franchise, and the Game Boy Color version represents the third platform in the lineup," stated Martin Spiess, senior vice president of global marketing for Crave Entertainment. "The Game Boy Color version is a unique experience, delivering a true UFC presentation. The entire game will be modeled directly after a UFC presentation on TV. Not only will we have the real fighters, but we will have the UFC artwork, theme music, announcer Bruce Buffer, and head referee Big John McCarthy."

The game is set for a November release, and the upcoming PlayStation version should hit shelves in October. We'll have screenshots from the Game Boy Color version of the game as they become available.
