Ubisoft signs PAL Flipnic

Ubisoft announces that it will release this psychedelic pinball game from SCE in PAL territories later this year. First screens inside.

Ubisoft Entertainment has today announced the upcoming release of Flipnic for the PlayStation 2. Developed at Sony Computer Entertainment, the psychedelic pinball game is scheduled to arrive in all PAL territories in time for Christmas.

"Flipnic is going to revolutionize the pinball galaxy," said Alain Corre, EMEA director at Ubisoft. "It's a perfect mix between the popular traditional pinball game and new challenges, which will appeal to both pinball gamers and action fans."

Flipnic will feature 50 levels set in five different environments. To unlock all of the game's tables, players will need to complete more than 60 challenges and missions, including destroying UFOs, saving flamingos from crocodiles, and feeding malicious pirates. Flipnic will also feature four minigames, including pinball versions of soccer and basketball.

We'll bring you more information on Flipnic, which was released in Japan earlier this year, as soon as it becomes available.
