Ubisoft Reflections revealing new game at E3

Managing director at UK studio teases outfit is working on "something that I'm not supposed to tell you about."

Ubisoft Reflections is currently co-developing open-world action game Watch Dogs, but that's not the only title the United Kingdom outfit is working on.

As reported by Joystiq, Ubisoft Reflections managing director Pauline Jacquey said today during the Game Horizon conference that the studio will reveal this new game at the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo next month.

"We work on Watch Dogs," Jacquey said. "We work on [Just Dance 4], and we work on something that I'm not supposed to tell you about. I wish that I could. It's going to be announced at E3."

Ubisoft Reflections is a frequent collaborator on various projects, including last year's Just Dance 4 and Far Cry 3. The last game the studio developed alone was 2011's Driver: San Francisco.

Ubisoft Toronto manager Jade Raymond revealed in March that the studio has two major collaborative projects in the works related to the company's "biggest franchises." In addition, a follow-up to this fall's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is already in development.

New games from DICE, BioWare, and EA Sports, as well as Respawn Entertainment are also expected to be announced at E3 2013.

 Ubisoft is remaking Flashback (?)

A remake of a well-liked Amiga game? From some of the original developers? With updated visuals that still have that early '90s sci-fi aesthetic?

Not to say they are lazy, but that is the exact same pose in the picture the character does in AC3. Im thinking its running on the same engine.

Well since we know about AC5 coming out....Assassin's Creed 6 is being announced for sure. - probably 7 and 8, too.

the dev team that made blood dragon showed intrest in makeing a sequel, if sales are good and knowing how ubisoft loves milking anything that sells, i could easely see it being a stand alone blood dragon 2 at 60$ release likely to launch at the holiday season in december

You know what... Despite my disliking to Ubisoft you can't deny they do release some of the most innovative and unique new IP's when they do.. Can't wait!!!

I just hope its a brand new Prince of Persia ( with Sands of Time Esq combat system). I miss that game trilogy ( forgotten sands, of course, doesn't count)

Driver! Hopefully. The last one was announced at E3 I think.

San Francisco was fantastic. I will be intrigued to know what they can do for a sequel that will work. Shift mode sounded so far fetched but it turned out to work great.

It also exceeded their sales expectations so hopefully it is! :D

Who knows, maybe he suspects that if he talks, he'll be fired and escorted out of the Ubi building by two security guards like Patrice Desilets.

Driver: San Francisco was good, stupid fun. I hope they're doing something to build up on that game.

@DevilD2005

I ithnk you mean they're recycling animations. Watch the entire gameplay vid and he handles just like an assassin.

@DevilD2005 I don't think its the same, I mean he won't be able to climb buildings, and the sowrd-play is not in this game, also the world interaction was not in AC games.

its most defently something else, but the pose is the same which is lame.

@kente10 @dragonkantus "We haven't released the sequel to last years sequel yet, but we're already working on the sequel to that sequel." Impressive future planning or just disheartening? I'd say the latter.
