Ubisoft bringing Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, and more to E3 2014

Publisher outlines its plans for next month's show; press conference to be held Monday, June 9 at 3 p.m. PDT.

Assassin's Creed publisher Ubisoft today announced its games lineup for next month's Electronic Entertainment Expo, saying it will bring games like Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Division, and more to the annual summer industry event.

"This year's E3 is the time for us to showcase the latest rich, immersive experiences our talented development teams are creating," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said in a statement. "These deeper, more connected and more social worlds take better advantage of the new generation's capabilities, and we're confident that we've got something in our lineup to get every type of gamer excited."

Ubisoft is bringing the following games to E3 2014:

Ubisoft's E3 2014 press conference will be held Monday, June 9 at 3 p.m. PDT at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Actress and comedian Aisha Tyler will host the event. If you live in the Los Angeles area you can visit Ubisoft's "Uplay Lounge" at The Standard Hotel in downtown LA. There, you'll get to go hands-on with Ubisoft titles and speak with developers.

I'm really excited about the rumored "Assassin's Creed: Comet" title that is supposed to be released on PS3 and PS Vita. I'm just hoping that Ubisoft will really stand behind and support the PS Vita at E3 this year. It's sad to see them dropping the hat on the WiiU. I'm really interested in Prince of Persia. We haven't had a Prince of Persia title since the beautiful 2008 reboot and it's sequel "Prince of Persia: The Fallen King". I bought my PS Vita system specifically for Killzone Mercenary and Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed III: Liberation" with the hopes of a PS Vita Prince of Persia title coming at some point. The PSP had three Prince of Persia releases: Revelations, Rival Swords and The Forgotten Sands and the PS Vita certainly needs a Prince of Persia title in it's library.

I'd lol if they announced Watch_Dogs 2 at E3 this year.

They also won't be announcing any games for Nintendo platforms but then again everyone hates Nintendo anyway.  I know I won't be watching their press conference or EA'S!  I'm only interested in what Nintendo has to say at E3!

"Other Ubisoft titles" : If there's a new IP (or more) and a new POP game, that'd be awesome.

Child of Light 2! One of the best things Ubi has done in years.

Isn't there supposed to be another Assassin's Creed this year? Assassin's Creed: Comet or something? For PS3/360?... they'd better hurry up and announce that one...

I really want to know if AC: Unity is also on 360/PS3. If it is then it's not next gen.

Judging from the current X1/PS4 games if it's on the 360/PS3 then it looks only slightly better and the new system weren't the lead.

Really we won't see many games like that until 2015. Looks like Batman maybe the first.

Personally I'm not interested in 'more connected and more social worlds'.  Just give me a decent single player campaign for Far Cry 4 and Valiant Hearts.  I'm not interested in anything else at this point.

FC4 is no more than a rental to me after what I've heard coming out about the game, same with the next AC game. If it takes you one year to make the game, I'm renting it.

The only one of those I care about is Valiant Hearts: The Great War.  Ubisoft and EA beat all the AAA out of me.  Rather play something new.

@vadagar1 idk... they all look like pretty good games to me... but that's your opinion. Also what makes "The Division" a bad game... we only saw a little bit at the last E3, that game looks like it could be really good.

@kcswanko  AC:Unity is exclusive to PC, XBONE, and PS4. There's rumors that the 360 and PS3 will get a separate game codenamed "Comet" but there isn't any official word on this one.

@Gallowhand Yeah, the social integration being forced down our throat via games nowadays is kinda sickening.

@thenephariouson  That project is all but dead and buried. The last activity I saw on the official website was from 2012...

@tomservo51  You do realize ALL Ubisoft games are in at minimum a 3 year development cycle right...? AC 4 was in a 4 yr dev cycle. Watch Dogs a 5 and Driveclub a 6.

Acillatem1993

@tomservo51 None of the games were made in one year. Every AC game to date was in development for 2+ years.

@chaos-06 @returnofsoma42 Actually that's not entirely true dude.  They aren't holding a press conference but they are holding a Smash Bros. invitational and they are inviting the public to attend.  And their games will be playable on the show floor they're just not having a traditional press conference.   I'm sure you're well aware they're doing a direct but I just thought I'd clarify things for you.
