Set for release in July, the Wii-exclusive Smurfs Dance Party will feature "chart-topping" songs, "classic tunes," and over 20 dance routines gamers can dance along to. Ubisoft did not name any specific tracks, but it did note that the tunes will fall into the R&B, pop, punk, and rock genres. Among the featured characters hitting the dance floor will be Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Clumsy, Brainy, and Gutsy, with the evil Gargamel also appearing in the title.

In addition to The Smurfs Dance Party for the Wii, Ubisoft is bringing a Smurfs-themed game to the DS. Simply titled The Smurfs, the DS game has players participating in a slew of minigames, including cake decoration and playing dress-up with Smurfette. Ubisoft did not announce a release date for The Smurfs for the DS.

The Smurfs movie adaptation is due out this August. The film boasts a number of celebrities providing voice work, including Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Jonathan Winters, and George Lopez. As for the film's plot, it will follow the Smurfs and their nemesis Gargamel when they are magically transported to current-day New York City.
