No Caption Provided Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction has been out for less than a day now, but that hasn't stopped game creator Ubisoft from announcing that it plans to continue supporting the title with ongoing free downloadable content. The first piece of DLC to hit the virtual marketplace is a weapon upgrade in the MP7A1 machine pistol.

While Ubisoft didn't revealed how long it plans to continue releasing free DLC for the title, the publisher announced via a press release that additional skins, weapons, and a new map for Deniable Ops would be included among the free goodies. The content is currently only available to Xbox 360 owners and will be accessible via the game's "Extras" in the main menu.
