Ubi Soft to release Salt Lake 2002 for the GBA

Ubi Soft has secured the GBA publishing rights to the game from Eidos.

Ubi Soft has announced that it has signed a deal with Eidos Interactive to release Salt Lake 2002 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game is the official video game of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games and will feature six specific events. The events are Snowball Parallel Giant Slalom, Curling, Alpine Downhill Skiing, Alpine Slalom Skiing, Individual Ski-jump, and Two-man Bobsled.

"We are thrilled to team up with Eidos in publishing Salt Lake 2002 on GBA," said Alain Corre, Managing director of Ubi Soft Europe. "The Olympic Games has always created great public interest and the ever growing GBA market should bring Ubi Soft a new winner."

Salt Lake 2002 for the GBA will be released in January 2002.
