Ubi Soft announces Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc

Ubi Soft has officially announced Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, which is being developed for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC, according to the company. "Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc presents the leap forward that the current generation of gamers have been anticipating," said Christine Burgess-Quernard, managing director of Ubi's international production unit. "With groundbreaking technology and a brilliant story, this title fully reflects Ubi Soft's dedication to creating cutting-edge entertainment."

According to the company, the game features completely new areas with even more bizarre creatures and citizens. The game will also have a new tactical combat system. "An extraordinary number of ideas went into the development of Rayman 3 Hoodlom Havoc," says Michel Ancel, the series' original creator, who is also at the helm of Rayman 3. "It will not only appeal to the existing fan base, but also to a completely new audience."

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is scheduled for release this fall.
