Ubisoft has released the latest demo for its upcoming Western-themed PC shooter, Call of Juarez. This latest trial showcases the game's multiplayer mode and comes with two maps that let gamers try the skirmish and robbery game types. The demo, which is 386.7MB in size, is now available for download from GameSpot. Ubisoft previously released a single-player demo, which let gamers step into the spurs of the game's two main characters. The full version of Call of Juarez is scheduled for release on September 5.

Hey EGBTMagus... you must have an old PC. I did (P4 2.4 1.5 Gigs RAM, Nvidia 5950 Ultra) when the demo first came out, and it was sluggish. Still looked good though, so where that comment is coming from - no clue. Sounds like fanboy speak to me. Then I went and built a new rig (E6600 Dual Core, 2 Gigs RAM, 7950GX2 and the sucker is simply drop dead gorgeous. And it runs like buttah.

Uh, Sooreliz... it hasn't released in the US yet. It doesn't come out until DECEMBER 5th. That's oh... a good 2 months away (as of today).

Please, the game isn't "crap". Reserve that indignation for the real turds that deserve it. Stuff like Hard Truck Apocalypse and other gems from tiny developers. Call of Juarez is clearly above average and may very well be a good one in its finalform. It is, however, an absolute system resource hog.

Its all crap, performance went up but the game doesn't look good nor does it sound good... and it still takes 30mins to load.
