TV network CBS has announced that two of its shows, Bull and Elementary, will air episodes featuring video game-related plots in the coming weeks. CBS is GameSpot's parent company.

The February 7 episode of Bull, titled "The Fall," will see Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) helping a professional gamer who is accused of throwing a championship game to sue his former manager. It airs Tuesday, February 7, at 9 PM ET on CBS.

The other CBS show, Elementary, will air an episode titled "Rekt in Real Life." This episode involves esports, murder, and mystery. Here is the official plot description:

"Holmes and Watson investigate the murder of a former professional esports video game player who died after being assaulted in front of his fans during a live video stream. Also, Shinwell approaches Joan for advice when his estranged teenage daughter asks to meet with him for the first time in years."

Pro gamers Hendrick "DJ Nintendo" Pilar, Arturo "Sabin" Sanchez, Jordan "JKap" Kaplan, Tarik "tarik" Celik, and Ryan "The Moon" Coker-Welch will appear on this show.

"Rekt in Real Life" airs Sunday, February 19, at 10 PM ET on CBS.

Video game storylines have appeared on network TV shows in the past. A 2015 episode of the longrunning crime drama Law & Order: SVU featured a story inspired by online gaming harassment.
