Spinning Reality announced today that it is currently developing a new Xbox game called Twilight of Lareleth. The developer has yet to line up a publisher for the role-playing game, but expects it to be ready for release in 2005.

Twilight of Lareleth is set on the world of Lareleth, where elves and gnolls have battled for years, and the elves have retreated to huge floating islands in the sky. Players choose one of four elven characters and one of nine classes to battle through more than 40 levels. Spinning Reality says that the game should include more than 60 hours of play.

The action RPG will also feature cooperative multiplayer for up to four players on one Xbox console. Instead of binding players together, the screen will split if players wander away from each other. Twilight of Lareleth will also offer Xbox Live support for four players.

Spinning Reality has launched a Web site for the game, which features concept art and some background story. GameSpot will provide more information on Twilight of Lareleth as it becomes available.
