Tron 2.0 on shelves
Developer Monolith's first-person action game, three years in the making, commemorates the 21st anniversary of the 1982 film.
Buena Vista Games, the interactive entertainment arm of Disney Consumer Products, puts Tron 2.0 for the PC on sale today in North America. The suggested retail price is $49.99.
The game takes place 20 years after the events of the sci-fi film, as Jet Bradley, son of ENCOM programmer Alan Bradley (voiced in the game by Bruce Boxleitner, reprising his role from the movie), combats rogue programs in a computerized world. Thirty story-driven single-player levels complement multiplayer modes featuring lightcycle racing and disc combat.
