Tribes 2 Update

Dynamix programmer and game designer Tim Gift updated his plan file with a progress report on Tribes 2, the sequel to 1998's very popular multiplayer-only squad-based first-person shooter. Gift talks about the milestones the design team has reached in developing the game (player animations, weapon and item inventory scripts, etc.) and touches on some of the team's current projects, such as working on the game's land-based vehicles.

Development on Tribes 2 is expected to be completed during the second half of this year, and we'll be able to see a near-complete version of the game at E3 this May.
