Tri Synergy to publish Arena Wars

Ascaron recruits the Texas-based publisher to release the futuristic RTS in North America.

German developer Ascaron announced that is has lined up a North American publisher for its forthcoming Arena Wars. Tri Synergy will release the 3D real-time strategy game for the PC in September.

Arena Wars is set in the year 2137, when a new sport has evolved out of tactical military simulations. Players will control futuristic armies as they battle through six tournaments that contain more than 60 total missions. Six different units can be upgraded and awarded power-ups, and each unit type has its own special ability. The game will support a cooperative mode as well as multiplayer for up to eight players across several different game types.
