Cryonetworks has announced that it has shipped Treasure Hunt 2001 to stores. Unlike most other PC puzzle games, the winner of Treasure Hunt 2001 will be flown to a real-world location to hunt for a prize worth $1 million. The real-time 3D game is played through a browser online. Players must solve a series of challenging puzzles in order to advance to the final prize. In addition to the final prize, the game includes several other prizes for those who solve certain puzzles along the way. The puzzles in the game were designed by award-winning designer Max Valentin.

Treasure Hunt 2001 will soon arrive in stores for a suggested retail price of $19.99. The game can also be purchased through the official Web site.
