Phoenix-based game developer Realm Interactive has announced that it will soon begin accepting applications for the upcoming beta test of Trade Wars: Dark Millennium, its sci-fi online role-playing game. The game, which is currently in the alpha stage of development, features fast-paced combat, a continuously evolving universe, and a complete quest system that includes both RPG-style missions and real-time strategy missions. Players will be able to customize their character and spaceship, and they can undertake quests that range in complexity from simple single-player errand quests to complex multiplayer assault missions that alter the course of the game universe.

Realm Interactive also sent us two exclusive screenshots, which we have posted along with other new screenshots in the gallery above. Trade Wars: Dark Millennium is scheduled for release later this year. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
