Kemco announces a new rally racing game for the Game Boy Advance.

Kemco will be showing its upcoming rally racing game, Top Gear Rally, at this year's E3. The original Top Gear Rally appeared on the Nintendo 64 platform in 1997. Since then, the game has gone through a few iterations and will soon make its debut on the Game Boy Advance. As the name suggests, Top Gear Rally is about rally-style racing, so you'll be driving through an array of settings ranging from city streets and icy hills to scenic deserts and colorful forests. The terrain is also variable and includes smooth pavement, bumpy dirt roads, muddy tracks, and slippery, ice-covered trails. You'll have to deal with sharp curves and inclines, as well as other obstacles on the road. A whopping 80 courses will be included in the game, assuring a wide variety of driving experiences.

The cars in Top Gear Rally are designed as full 3D models and range from classic to contemporary styles. There are four gameplay modes: championship, time attack, quick race, and practice. Two-player head-to-head play is also possible using a GBA link cable. Kemco is even allowing players to register their best times on the official Web site to compare them with other players from around the world.

Top Gear Rally is slated for release in fall 2003. We'll have more information on the game as it becomes available.
