Tomb Raider timed-exclusive DLC revealed for Xbox 360
Tomb Raider's Caves & Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack coming to Xbox 360 on March 19.
Three new multiplayer maps for Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider reboot will be released first for Xbox 360, publisher Square Enix has announced.
The Caves & Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack will be released for 400 Microsoft Points on March 19.
No date was given as to when the content will be available on the PlayStation 3 and PC. DLC for Call of Duty and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim--two of Microsoft's highest-profile time-exclusive deals--are locked to Xbox 360 for about a month.
Inside the Caves & Cliffs pack are three multiplayer maps, Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown, and Burning Village. The trio of maps are based on areas you'll visit in the single-player campaign, and all are playable across Tomb Raider's four multiplayer modes: Rescue, Cry for Help, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All.
Tomb Raider received an 8.5 in its GameSpot review, though reviewer Carolyn called the multiplayer part of the game "enjoyable but unremarkable."
