Tomb Raider 360 scores exclusive content for Asia

Asian edition of game to include extra map, weapon upgrades.

With only a few weeks to go until the latest adventures of Lara Croft hits store shelves, publisher Square Enix and distributor Namco Bandai have outlined some exclusive goodies for the Xbox 360 edition of Tomb Raider for Asian gamers.

All 360 launch copies of Tomb Raider in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, and southeast Asia will include the agility skill upgrade for Lara, the Shanty Town multiplayer map, and the Tomb Raider combat strike pack (which includes extra skills and weapons upgrades) on day one of release.

In addition, Namco Bandai also has an offering for those who order the Asian Survival Edition for the 360. Gamers who pre-order will receive a Hitman: Absolution-themed weapons pack, three different skins for Lara, and a single-player challenge map called Tomb of the Lost Adventurer.

Tomb Raider blows all 3 Unchartered Games away finally.  GOTY all ALL formats.  Best game this decade.

So console, store, and preorder exclusive content isn't enough, we have to break it down by region and then sell to everyone else later. You know EA just got a hard on thinking about how they can do this from now on too.

@SavoyPrime But this could be a way to get it to be alive once again in Asia.
