TOKYO - While E3 has its moments, nothing compares to the Tokyo Game Show in the excitement category. Some booths may be more entertaining than others, but it's guaranteed that there will always be surprises around the corner.

Biggest SurprisesThere really weren't any big surprises at this year's Tokyo Game Show Sping. The only one was Front Mission 3 from Square and, well, Legend of Mana (even though we did know about it a few days beforehand).

Where was…???There are several games that were inexplicably absent from the show floor that we expected to be there in some form or another. One was Namco's Star Ixiom (PlayStation), a game that even Namco's official web site listed as being present at the show. Sega didn't show Dynamite Deka 2, its first Model 2 conversion for the Dreamcast, even though the game is tentatively scheduled for a May release. Arc the Lad III, expected to be a part of Sony's lineup of new PlayStation games wasn't shown at TGS either.
