As part of Amazon's Deal of the Day campaign, the online retailer is offering Activision's Guitar Hero Live--the first new entry in the series since 2010's Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock--for just $50. That's for the game and guitar bundle, and it's good across all platforms. However, the deal is only available today, so you'll need to act quickly.

Amazon is not offering a discount on the two-guitar bundle, however, meaning you'll have to pick up a second guitar separately to play locally with others. Head to Amazon's product page here to learn more and place an order.

At launch in October, the Guitar Hero Live bundle cost $100, but its price has been regularly discounted down to $80. Still, this is the lowest price we've ever seen for the bundle, matching a Target offer from the end of 2015.

Amazon's offer on Guitar Hero Live expires at midnight, so if you're interested, you may want to act quickly. Available platforms include PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and tablet.

In other Guitar Hero Live news, the game's latest DLC tracks were released this week, featuring songs from bands like Weezer and Marilyn Manson, among others. For more, check out GameSpot's Guitar Hero Live review.
