Microsoft threw a huge party in Austin, Texas last night to celebrate the launch of Respawn Entertainment's much-anticipated multiplayer shooter Titanfall. If you missed out on the action you can relive the festivities in these images Microsoft provided today.

On-hand at the Titanfall launch event was a guy with an Xbox logo shaved into his head, as well as Respawn Entertainment cofounder Vince Zampella, Xbox marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi, and Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb.

Attendees were also treated to a performance by Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino. It looked like a pretty rockin' time. Haven't picked up Titanfall yet? Check out what the critics are saying.

Shaved an Xbox logo in his hair. What about a tattoo? That would show way more dedication.

Looks like it was a fun event. Shame they had to ruin it by giving Major Knob-end a microphone.

Titanfall is a system seller. Picked up my copy of Titanfall today at Gamestop and people were buying the TitanFall Xbox One bundle like it is going out of style.

@Tiwill44  No one in those photos looked like they had anything else going on in their life.  The guy that shaved the logo into his hair half-assed it, he didn't even dye it green.

@Triton And you know what the world says about homophobes...  No, wait, you wouldn't, as you'd have been kicked for abusive behaviour when everybody else started taling.

Oh, you are one to call others out for being cynical.

Do you not remember what you said about people who play Hearthstone? That they are "geeks"?

@iampenguin  What's more sad is his arms literally gave out and the Xbox crushed him under it's weight just seconds after that photo was taken. Memorial services are Friday.

@repetitious I'm sure the banking job he has will allow it, or the business managing firm he works at. My guess is parent's basement or unemployment line.
