Titanfall players on PC may have noticed today playlists dedicated to the game's Capture the Flag and Pilot Hunter modes are missing. It's not a glitch, as developer Respawn Entertainment writes on Twitter that it has purposefully removed these playlists, but it's not clear why.

These modes, however, will remain playable in Titanfall private matches and in the Variety Pack playlist. There's no changes to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions. Private matches were added to Titanfall through a massive patch early last month.

Respawn did not say why it elected to remove the two playlists from the PC version. We've reached out to a representative for the company for more information about the situation.

Titanfall launched in March for Xbox One and PC, before coming to the Xbox 360 last month. In April, Titanfall was the best-selling game overall in the United States, according to a report released last night from the NPD Group.
