Titanfall "most likely" won't have cross-platform play
Respawn cofounder Vince Zampella says Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC players unlikely to be able to play together.
Respawn Entertainment's upcoming online shooter Titanfall will "most likely" not feature cross-platform play, cofounder Vince Zampella has told GameSpot.
The decision was borne of a desire to keep the playing fields level, he said.
"Most likely not," Zampella said in response to a question of the possibility of cross-platform play. "I don't think it's locked yet, but to me, I'd like to keep it segregated so there's no advantage or disadvantage."
Titanfall launches during spring 2014 only for Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. For more, check out GameSpot's interview with Zampella below.
