Titanfall for Xbox 360 "coming along really well"
Producer tells fans not to worry about upcoming Xbox 360 version of multiplayer shooter.
Development on the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall--handled not by Respawn Entertainment but rather external studio Bluepoint Games--is progressing well, producer Drew McCoy explained in a NeoGAF forum post.
"Oh, and for all the speculation going on about the 360 version. It's coming along really well. Bluepoint is full of phenomenally talented devs," McCoy said.
Titanfall for the Xbox 360 launches on March 25, two weeks after the game debuts on March 11 for the Xbox One and PC. McCoy acknowledged that Respawn wanted the Xbox 360 version to be available alongside the others, but the team wasn't willing to compromise on quality to do so.
"We (being Respawn) have been pushing for them to have all the time they need to make it as good as possible, which means extra time for them to polish it up," he said. "We'd all like it to be day and date, but a better game a few weeks later is better than an unfinished one earlier."
