Respawn Entertainment announced some new information about Titanfall 2 today, including a brand-new Coliseum mode where players can go head-to-head in 1v1 matches.

You can see a very brief glimpse at the Coliseum mode at the end of the trailer above. On display are two robot-like characters duking it out on a map that resembles a sumo wrestling ring. The object is to vanquish your enemy in a best two-out-of-three competition. The winner gets what's called "Advocate Gifts," which will "primarily be rare Camos, Callsigns, and more."

Another element of Coliseum mode is that you need a Coliseum ticket to gain entry. Tickets are earned by playing multiplayer, but can also be obtained by buying specially marked Mountain Dew drinks or Doritos bags, or from Buffalo Wild Wings promotions.

The Mountain Dew and Doritos codes come with one Coliseum ticket. They also give you double XP and a chance to get Titan personalization items such as warpaint and camo, or even access to the Ronin Titan.
