Respawn's soon-to-launch Titanfall 2 will support PlayStation 4 Pro, the developer has reiterated. Additionally, producer Drew McCoy confirmed on Twitter today that the "support is on the disc."

It was already confirmed that Titanfall 2 would get a PS4 Pro patch, but this is the first time we're hearing that the patch will apparently be available when the game launches on October 28.

The PS4 Pro doesn't launch until November 10, so the patch is more preparatory in nature. Titanfall 2 is not the only game getting a PS4 Pro patch, as other EA games like Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, and Mass Effect: Andromeda also are. You can see all the games that are getting PS4 Pro patches here.

Sony's PS4 Pro is priced at $400. It comes with a 1 TB hard drive, which you can replace. For lots more on the PS4 Pro, check out GameSpot's recent feature that covers everything you need to know.

In other news about Titanfall 2, Respawn co-founder and CEO Vince Zampella recently said more games after Titanfall 2 are possible.

"We don't have necessarily a trilogy in mind. You always hope when you create something that it's embraced and that people will love it for generations to come," he said. "I hope we do more of it. We probably plan to do more--as you know, we have the mobile games as well. I would like to see the universe live on. I think it's very expandable. I think there's a lot we can do with it. There's a lot of great ideas floating around here [at Respawn] that I would love to see come to life."

The first Titanfall mobile game, Frontline, is a free-to-play card game for iOS and Android. It comes out this year, as part of Respawn's partnership with mobile gaming giant Nexon.
