Electronic Arts revealed that it has launched the Web site for its upcoming first-person shooter, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. The game is being developed by Free Radical Design and will be released March 21 for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox.

The site features several details about the game, the third in the time-traveling TimeSplitters series. Visitors can get plenty of information about the game's storyline, which involves Cortez chasing down the origin of the TimeSplitters by moving through time. The site also features a rundown on guns and time zones, though not all items are available since the site is under construction. Gamers can also get a peek at the game in action in the form of several screenshots and two videos.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect features levels that take place between 1914 and 2401. There are several minigames, an online and offline cooperative story mode, and online multiplayer support for up to 16 players on the Xbox and PS2 editions.

TimeSplitters is rated "M" for Mature and retails for $49.99. For more information on the game, check GameSpot's previous coverage.
