THQ completes purchase of ValuSoft

California-based game publisher THQ has announced that it has completed the purchase of ValuSoft, a company based in Minnesota that focuses on budget-priced games for casual computer users. The acquisition will expand THQ's distribution channels for mass-market PC games in the $9.99 to $19.99 price range.
