THQ's most famous crime franchise is the Saints Row series, which had sold nearly 5 million copies as of the company's latest financial report. Today, the financially struggling publisher announced it is expanding its criminal empire to include CrimeCraft from New Jersey-based Vogster Entertainment.

THQ today announced a publishing partnership with Vogster that will see CrimeCraft receive a retail release alongside its online launch this August. However, the retail release will be exclusive to Best Buy stores, where players can preorder the game starting June 7. For those who prefer to forego the retail experience entirely, CrimeCraft preorders start online May 31.

Either way, customers have a handful of incentives to commit to the game in advance of launch. Those who preorder the game will receive prelaunch access to the beta test of the game, three days' head start on the game's official launch, and in-game shoes from Ecko Unltd. Those going through Best Buy for a preorder will also receive two months of free play time, two in-game T-shirts, an in-game "combat backpack," and a discount on items purchased in the game world.
