TH*Q Announces Yearly Results

At the company's annual meeting, TH*Q announces its results, looks to the future.

On Tuesday, TH*Q held its annual meeting, announcing its financial results for 1996-97. For the fiscal year ended December 31, 1996, the company garnered revenues of US$50.3 million, up from $33.2 million from the previous year, and profits tripled to $1.9 million.

In the first three months of 1997, TH*Q reported revenues of $11.8 million, an 80 percent increase over the same period in 1996. The company's lineup for the remainder of 1997 includes The Lost World for Game Boy, Vs. for PlayStation, and WCW vs. NWO: World Tour for the Nintendo 64.

TH*Q President and CEO Brian J. Farrell said, "As we move into the planning stages for 1998, we find ourselves further along on the development curve than we have ever been. We believe our solid cash position, combined with our low-cost approach to doing business, our commitment to managing inventories, and our guerilla marketing provide a solid foundation for continued success of TH*Q."
