THPS 2 Still at One

Tony Hawk 2 stays ahead of NFL 2K1 on the overall game sales chart for the second week in a row.

PC Data has released its latest charts of the top-selling console games. For the week of September 24-30 the top three games on the video games chart remained unchanged, with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the PlayStation once again securing the top spot. Sega's NFL 2K1 continued to remain strong, ahead of EA's Madden NFL 2001 for the PlayStation. Madden for the Nintendo 64 took the top honors on that console, surpassing Nintendo's own Mario Tennis.
