The Last Guardian is getting its own vinyl record from iam8bit, Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog. The LP, which is available to preorder now, looks gorgeous and is expected to ship early next year.

The music is composed by Takeshi Furukawa (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and comes on two separate records. The art, on the other hand, is done by Nimit Malavia, whose previous work includes Fables, Red Snow, and Wolverine & Jubilee. It's spread across the album sleeve's tri-fold design. You can see it for yourself in the gallery below.

The vinyl soundtrack costs $35 and can be preordered here. It's expected to ship sometime between January and March in 2017. Iam8bit has put together a bunch of vinyl records for games in the past, including Rocket League and Rez.

The Last Guardian releases for PS4 on December 6, after many years in development. It was originally planned to release on October 25 before getting delayed last month.

For those who are still worried it might get delayed further, PlayStation boss Shuehei Yoshida announced that the long-awaited game has gone gold. This means that primary development has concluded and the game can be pressed to physical discs.

You can watch 16 minutes of The Last Guardian gameplay here.
