The Suffering ships for PCs
Encore sends its port of Midway's survival horror shooter to stores.
Encore Software has announced that The Suffering has shipped for PCs. Originally released for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 by Midway, the PC version of the game will also follow a convicted killer serving time in a haunted penitentiary. As the game starts, the imprisoned specters break free, possessing or killing every human that gets in their way. The PC Suffering will be rated "M" for Mature, but will cost only $29.99--$20 less than its console cousins.
