The Sly Collection spotted for Vita in ESRB listing

But Sony hasn't officially announced the title.

by

The ESRB (via CVG) has rated a version of The Sly Collection for PlayStation Vita.

Sony hasn't formally announced the title for PlayStation Vita, but released The Sly Collection (known as The Sly Trilogy in Europe) for PlayStation 3 in 2010. The compilation contained HD remasters of PS2 platformers Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

The ESRB rates the PlayStation Vita version of The Sly Collection as E10+, pointing out instances of crude humour in the game's dialogue and citing quotes “you've got some fuzzy dice to come round here” and “back in my day we had enforcers that would make people pee their pants just as soon as look at 'em.”

A new title in the series, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita earlier this year.

Can't wait been waiting on this mostly before fully jumping into the new one though the demo was good and polished don't have any of the games so this will be like having my cake and eating it too.

Well good, if the Jak & Daxter games can get a Vita release then so should this.

This is good news, the HD collection of this game is more of a handheld title. I bought the Sly collection for PS3 and hated it, just didn't feel right on the Ps3, but I can see it playing well on the Vita. Same goes for the fourth entry in the series, the PS3 version feels empty and cheap but the Vita version feels just right.

I've never actually played any of these games, and I'd love to on the Vita. Played the demo for Sly 4 and LOVED it. Getting it on Vita at some point, but I've got way too much to play on Vita right now, plus I get the feeling it'll be on PS Plus down the line. I'll probably have the same attitude when this trilogy hits Vita. That's what PS Plus has done to me. I barely ever buy anything anymore, yet I always have tons to play.

@Kairysama Unless Crash is in the next Call of Duty game that's not happening. Activision has no interest in giving us our childhood back unless the franchise is worth a billion in their pocket.

@burgeg Yeah PS plus is amazing. Saved hundreds of dollars barely buy Vita games but my collection continues to grow plus the ones I do buy have a great PS plus sale. Can't bare to pay for Xbox live ever again now.

@Ovirew @Whitescarver They play fine, but the overall feel of the games just feel empty to me. They were mind blowing for PS2 but on PS3 they just feel minimal. Sly 4 for Ps3 feels like this, the PS3 version feels like the world was made with the Vita in mind, the environmental feel small minded, but on the Vita Sly 4 feels like a proper game, exactly what I'd expect from a handheld and more.
