The Sims Takes All

Electronic Arts' virtual life game tops both the latest monthly and weekly PC Data lists of best-selling games.

Comments

It comes as no surprise that Electronic Arts' popular virtual life game continues to sell well into the new year. It has remained on the top ten best-selling games list since its release in early 2000, and it has been topping many of the recent weekly lists. Even more impressive is Hasbro's theme park management game Roller Coaster Tycoon, which was released almost two years ago and still managed to capture second place in the December chart. Expansion packs to both games also made it into the top five, with The Sims: Livin' Large earning third place and Roller Coaster Tycoon: Loopy Landscapes taking fifth place. Disney's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition took fourth place.
