Maxis has announced that The Sims: House Party has gone gold. House Party is the latest expansion pack for The Sims, the popular virtual life game from Maxis. It adds a variety of different environments, costumes, and objects to the game. The expansion pack is designed to let players throw theme parties for their Sims, and it includes a number of items and decorations for different themes, including disco, rave, country, and toga. Some of the objects featured in the game include a light-up dance floor, DJ turntables, a mechanical bull, and a giant pop-up cake.
